The 30-Day Resolution Guarantee is a facilitation commitment, not a warranty or insurance policy. It is important to understand the distinction:

• It is not a workmanship warranty. We do not guarantee the quality of any contractor's work or commit to making repairs.
• It is not financial compensation. VerifiedPros does not provide refunds or pay for remediation work under this guarantee.
• It is not an insurance policy. Contractors carry their own liability insurance — contact them or their insurer directly for insurance claims.
• It does not override your contractor's own terms. Any written agreement you have with your contractor applies independently of this guarantee.

Making a claim is straightforward. Within 30 days of your job completion date:

• Email support@verifiedpros.ca with your job ID (shown in your dashboard) and a clear description of your concern.
• Include any relevant photos, messages, or documentation that supports your claim.
• We will acknowledge your email within 2 business days and begin the mediation process.

Thirty days is the window we believe gives homeowners a fair opportunity to discover issues with completed work — particularly for trades like electrical, plumbing, and HVAC where problems may not be immediately visible.

After 30 days, the guarantee period closes. This is not because we stop caring, but because evidence deteriorates, circumstances change, and responsibility becomes harder to determine fairly. If you believe a serious issue exists beyond the guarantee window, you may still contact us — we'll listen, though we cannot commit to the same mediation process.
